Donetta Intrieri (Vuono)
Donetta (Vuono) Intrieri 94, wife of the late Carmine Intrieri, passed away at 6 Mohawk Ct. Westerly surrounded by her loving family on Friday May 5, 2017. Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late Gennaro and Rosina Vuono. Donetta had worked very hard to support her family and was formerly employed at Seidner’s Mayonnaise, American Velvet, and the George C. Moore Co. Mrs. Intrieri was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and enjoyed dancing, gardening, and especially cooking for her family. She was also an avid viewer of both General Hospital and All My Children. One of her great passions in life was attending all of the sporting events of her grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her seven children Salvatore Intrieri and his wife Maria, Luigi Intrieri and his wife Rosa, Adelmo Intrieri and Raven DiMario, Elaina Antonino and her husband Ralph, Olinda Gabriele and her husband Salvatore, Esandrio Intrieri and his wife Ana, and her son Carlo Intrieri. She also leaves twelve grandchildren Kathy Urso (Michael), Carmine Intrieri (Nicole), Antonietta Morrone (Bryan), Carmine Intrieri, Gino Intrieri (Kristin), Jason Gabriele (Molly), Stefanie Giangan (Donald), Salvatore Intrieri (Rachel), Ilia Varriale (Leo), Esa Intrieri, Alberto Intrieri, Adelmo Intrieri. She also leaves behind fourteen great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is survived by her sister Maria Ferraro. She is predeceased by seven siblings Angelo, Luigi, Paolo, Gennaro, Orlando, and Francesca Vuono, as well as Giuseppina Intrieri.

Visiting hours will be held in Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home 59 Spruce Street Westerly on Monday from 4-7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception 111 High Street Westerly on Tuesday at 10 am. There will be no procession from the funeral home to the church. Burial will be in St. Sebastian Cemetery.
