Millicent S.  Silver (Stinson)
Millicent S. Silver, 91, of South Broad St., Pawcatuck, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017. She was the wife of the late Louis “Kessler” Silver.

Born in Norwich, CT, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm J., Sr. and Lydia Stinson.

Millicent was a Group Home Manager for many years at ARC of RI. She was also a member of the United Congregational Church of Westerly, the Mystic Women’s Club and the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center. Mrs. Silver had been heavily involved in horseback riding and was a member of numerous riding clubs until the age of 76.

She is survived by two sons, Richard L. Silver of Groton, CT and Charles E. Silver and wife Judy of Pawcatuck. She is also survived by three siblings, Malcolm J. Stinson, Jr. of Showtow, AZ, Ruth S. Boozam of Mystic, CT and Barbara J. Perkins of Myrtle Beach, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
