Obituary for Dorothy Lucille Post (Clark)
Dorothy Lucille (Clark) Post, 83, of High St., Mystic, passed away at L&M Hospital in New London on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. She was the wife of the late Raymond Pietrowski.
Born in Westerly, she was a daughter of the late Robert F. and Lucy Clark.
Dorothy worked as a Team Leader for Medtronic for many years and was also was employed as a supervisor at Ashaway Line & Twine. She was a passionate crafter who especially enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing. She also loved reading and doing puzzles. Dorothy was a longtime, dedicated member of the 2nd Baptist Church of North Stonington.
She leaves her three children, Raymond E. Pietrowski, Sr. of Pawcatuck, Darleen L. Beckwith of Mystic and Zigman L. Pietrowski of N. Stonington; two siblings, Robert F. Clark, Jr. of Pennsylvania and Elizabeth Gentile of Ashaway; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy’s twin brother, Donald Clark, passed away recently on April 14.
Visiting hours will be held today, Thursday from 5-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:30am in the funeral home.
