Charles E.  Fusaro
Charles E. Fusaro, 87, devoted husband for 52 years of Josephine Fusaro, of Tom Harvey Road, Westerly, passed away at The Westerly Hospital on Friday, May 19, 2017.

Born in Westerly he was the eldest son of the late Samuel and Filomena Fusaro.

Charles was a US Army Veteran who proudly served two years of active duty during the Korean War and then four years in the Army Reserves. He was a Master Bricklayer and Gold Card Member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers. He was a communicant of St. Clare Church. He was known as an accomplished woodworker and avid gardener.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Joyce F. Kinsman of Marshfield, MA; Arlene L. Harsch of McMurray, PA; and three siblings, Rose Lombardi and Frances Bradley, both of Westerly and Clarence Fusaro of Warwick; as well as two grandchildren, Adam Charles Harsch and Gianna Kinsman. Charles was predeceased by his brother, Samuel Fusaro.

There are no visiting hours. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10am at St. Clare Church, Crandall Ave., Westerly. Kindly omit flowers. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 So. County Trail, Exeter. Attendees not arriving in procession from the church are asked to arrive outside the Main Office Building at 11:45a.m. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly is in charge of the arrangements.
