Janice C (Clements) Rodd, 85, of Westerly, passed away with her loving friends and family at her side on June 17, 2017. She was the wife of the late Dennis N. Rodd.

Born in Linden, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Jane Clements. She spent the last 37 years living in Westerly, a place she loved.

She worked as a secretary at the Naval Sub Base in Groton, CT. A member of Christ Church, she was also a Past President for several terms and active member of the Westerly Garden Club making significant changes in the club which last to this day. She was an accomplished Bridge player and loved the concerts in the park and Granite Theater. In recent years, she enjoyed serving coffee to the seniors in the local rehab facilities.

She is survived by 3 children, Richard D. Rodd of Westerly, Karen R. Yocom and son-in-law, Thomas L. Yocom of San Diego, CA, and Lawrence D. Rodd of Seattle, WA; and 3 grandchildren, Amanda, Garrett and Elizabeth.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 28, at 10 AM at Christ Church, 7 Elm St, Westerly. Burial will follow at Christ Church Memorial Garden. For online condolences go to www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com.
