Mary and I are heartbroken to hear the news of Peter's passing. His gregarious personality made him a joy to be around whether talking politics, business or life.

Condolence: Nina and family. It is with a heavy heart that I have learned of Peter. I reflect back to both of us at UPS and training him when he started. He was 18 I think and I had just turned 19. Really makes me wonder how that was all possible. Then of course our many years later on in Hartford always remind me of his quick wit, sense of humor and Gaelic charm.

Condolence: Jamie, Mary Ellen, Alice and families, I am so sorry to hear about this. I was not surprised to read that Peter was "the life of the party", it is a Larkin trait. I have memories of summer nights when the Larkins had a fire in the back yard and I would hear the boys playing and singing. He has a great welcoming party waiting on the other side. As sorry as you are to see him go, Jake, Barry and your parents are so happy to have him Home.

Peter as you well know was one of a kind, I first met him in 1975 in Hartford, I think I was the Rhode Islander he felt sorry for and we have been friends every since.
He truely was a friend forever, may he Rest In Peace.
