Obituary for Lillian M. Lepikko (Lamphere)

Lillian M.  Lepikko (Lamphere)
Lillian Mae Lepikko, beloved wife of the late John E. Lepikko, Sr., mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend to many, passed away peacefully on Monday , June 26, at the age of 75, joining together again with her loving husband and son who had both passed away earlier this year.

Lillian was a resident of Westerly for over 55 years. A member of Babcock Presbyterian Church for just a many years, she served faithfully as Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and on the Women’s Association. Lillian worked in the Westerly School System for many years.

She showed her deep love for her family in her baking and cooking, she especially delighted in making the Finish traditional Nisu Bread, a tribute to her husband’s heritage, for friends + family to enjoy. She always looked forward to the family summer picnics with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren relaxing (and eating!) by the pool.

Lillian is survived by her sons, John Jr. + Janice and Jeff + Dianne; 5 grandchildren, Patrick Lepikko + Julie, Kristine Sisson + Ray, Joshua Lepikko, Noah Lepikko, Aaron Lepikko; and 4 great-grandchildren, Harmony Lepikko, Brook Lepikko, Brianna Sisson, Korey Lepikko.

A Memorial Service will be held at Babcock Presbyterian Church, 25 Maxson St., in Ashaway, RI on Friday, 7/7 at 11:00am. Family and Friends are invited to share and celebrate the memories of Lillian’s life. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com
