Frank L. Cidale 63, of Tower Street, Westerly, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at The Westerly Hospital after a brief illness.
Frank was the son of the late Frank E. and Rose Cidale. Frank attended Immaculate Conception School, and graduated from the Westerly High School, class of 1972. He worked for the State of Rhode Island Department of Transportation in the late 70’s and for 20 years as a fence installer for Cappy’s Fence.
Frank was an avid red Sox fan, in football he rooted for whichever team Peyton Manning quarterbacked. One of Frank’s prouder accomplishments was being a friend of Bill W for 16 years. He was also a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church.
He leaves his sisters, Gloria (Jared) Rhodes of Ashaway and Bernadette (Oscar) Glass of Kennedale, TX; and two nieces, Melissa (Chad) DeLoach, and Stephanie (Michael) Chesser, both of Texas. He is also survived by two great nieces; a great nephew; an aunt Anna Murano and uncle E.L. (Hummie) Murano of Westerly; and numerous cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 10th from 6-8 pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce Street Westerly, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Tuesday, July at 11 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High Street Westerly. There is no procession from the funeral home to church.
