Barbara C. Brooks, of George Street, Charlestown, passed away at Apple Rehab Clipper in Westerly on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the age of 91.
Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late Albino and Mary Coduri.
Barbara was a licensed pilot and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. She was a member of the Surfside 8 Dancers Club, a member of the Cross Mills Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and had just retired after 30 years as Treasurer of the Charlestown Fire District.
She leaves two grandchildren, Viansa and Dante Salazar.
Visiting hours are omitted. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 3 at 11:30am at River Bend Cemetery, 117 Beach St., Westerly. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly is in charge of the arrangements. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com
