Obituary for Dorothy M. Murray (Reuss)
Dorothy M. (Reuss) Murray, 95, formerly of Pawcatuck, CT passed away peacefully at Kingston Center Nursing Home in West Kingston, Rhode Island on September 10, 2017.
Mrs. Murray was the daughter of the late Mary and Donald Reuss, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband for 62 years Donald T. Murray. Dorothy was born in Glendon, Pennsylvania, and at an early age moved to Stonington, Connecticut. Dorothy enjoyed arts, crafts, gardening, crocheting, knitting, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Donald T. Murray, Jr. of Fort Myers, FL and Robert W. Murray of Wyoming, RI; and has 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The Murray Family wants to extend our sincere appreciation to the entire staff at the Kingston Center Nursing Home for their exceptional and compassionate care they provided Dorothy, and their loving support to our family. We would also like to extend our appreciation to Beacon Hospice for their loving care and support for Dorothy and our family.
A visiting hour will be held at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly on Monday from 11:30am – 12:30pm, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 12:30pm in the funeral home.
