Obituary for Geraldine A. Ferando
Geraldine A. Ferando, of Winnapaug Road, Westerly, passed away at Apple Rehab Clipper on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, following a brief stay. She was 94 years old.
Born in Westerly, she was a daughter of the late Gennaro and Nunziata Ferando.
Geraldine worked as a weaver with American Velvet for many years. She loved to cook and give food away, and she especially enjoyed family outings.
She will be dearly remembered by her many cherished nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
Geraldine was predeceased by three brothers, James Ferando, Nicholas Ferando and Frank Ferendo; and two sisters, Louise Tucker and Rose Alfiero.
A visiting hour will be held at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly on Friday from 11am – 12 noon, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 12 noon in the funeral home.
