Jose M. Pacheco of Pawcatuck, beloved husband, father and brother, passed away at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the age of 53.

Born in St. Michael, Azores he was the son of the late Jose L. and Agrinoalda Pacheco.

Jose leaves his loving wife Iria M. (Arruda) Pacheco and daughter Veronica A. Pacheco, as well as two sisters, Marcia Pacheco and Helena Pacheco, all of Pawcatuck; and three nieces.

Jose was the proud owner and operator of Pacheco Landscaping for 25 years and loved spending time with family and friends.

Visiting hours will be held at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly on Tuesday from 9-10:15a.m., immediately followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, 95 Main St., Stonington.
