Lucia "Lucy" Maria (Feraco) Cristina, 92, of Westerly, beloved wife of the late Antonio Cristina for 57 years, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018.

Lucy received loving care and support from Apple Rehab Watch Hill, Beacon Hospice, and Father Capoverdi, for which her children are eternally grateful.

Born in Westerly, Rhode Island, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria Concetta Feraco.

Lucy was employed as a window dresser at the five-and-ten and also worked at American Velvet for many years. She was a member of the Legion of Mary. She was a devoted communicant of Immaculate Conception Church.

Lucy will be dearly missed by her four children that were the light of her life until the end, Rosemarie Cristina and her husband, Ainsworth Linton, of Chestnut Ridge, NY; Donnamarie Cristina and her husband, Joseph Medina, of Bayside, NY; Joanna Adams and her husband, Christopher Adams, of Westerly; and Anthony Joseph Cristina of Westerly. Lucy is also survived by five loving grandchildren, Tiffany Marie Adams, Joshua David Adams, Nicholas Antonio Medina, Joseph Colby Medina, and Marissa Lucia Cristina; one great-grandchild, David Adams; three brothers-in-law, Joseph Cristina, Orazio Cristina and Vincenzo Cristina; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Rosalbina DeSantis, Angelina Dipollino, and her brothers, Francesco DeSantis, John Feraco, Michael Feraco, and Nicholas Feraco.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 5-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church,111 High St., Westerly on Tuesday at 10am. There is no procession from the funeral home to church.
