Obituary for Tammy Lee Murray
Tammy Lee Murray, 57, of Havens Road, Westerly, passed away at L&M Hospital in New London on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.
Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of Doris Murray of Westerly and the late John R. Murray.
Tammy was the co-owner, manager and heartbeat of Michael Gerard Jewelry in W. Warwick for many years. She worked tirelessly for her family and was loved by the people of town. You could always find her snacking on Kit Kats and watching Law and Order. She was a bargain hunter with a heart of gold.
In addition to her mother, she will be dearly missed by two sons, Nicholas B. Brennan of Westerly and Nathan T. Murray of Coventry; two brothers, James L. Murray of Westerly and Tom Murray of Ashaway; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert A. Murray and Michael S. Murray.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 5-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 10am in the funeral home.
