Angelo F. “Chick” Cozzolino, of Chestnut Court, Westerly, passed away at Apple Rehab Watch Hill on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the age of 81.
Born in Westerly, he was the son of the late Frank and Philomena Cozzolino.
Chick worked as a truck driver for James Romanella and Sons for many years until his retirement. He was a US Army Veteran, a communicant of St. Pius X Church and a founding member of the Westerly Sports Boosters. He was also a member of the Calabrese Society, the North End Social Club and a retired member of Teamsters Local 493.
He leaves three children, Michael Cozzolino, Mark J. Cozzolino and Pam Cozzolino Urso, all of Westerly; three siblings Frank Cozzolino of Stuart, FL, and James Cozzolino and Phyllis Roberts, both of Westerly; as well as one grandson Vincent Urso also of Westerly.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, 44 Elm St., Westerly on Thursday at 12 Noon. There is no procession from the funeral home to church.
