Margaret B. (Bradshaw) Curtin, of Downer St., Pawcatuck, passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, a few weeks shy of her 103rd birthday. She was the wife of the late Dr. Thomas P. Curtin.
Born in Ansonia, CT, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Bradshaw.
She was a school teacher for the Stonington School System for many years until her retirement and was a communicant of St. Michael Church.
She will be dearly missed by her four children, Marilyn Jarvis of Greensboro Bend, VT, Patricia O’Neill of Westerly, Linda Curtin of Pawcatuck and Edward Curtin and his wife Vera of St. Petersburg, FL. Margaret also leaves fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two children, Brad Curtin and Margery Anadore; and two grandchildren, Sean and Allison Jarvis.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Funeral Liturgy will take place on Tuesday at 10am at St. Mary’s Church, 95 Main St., Stonington. There is no procession from the funeral home to church.
