Obituary for F. Clyde St. Germain

F. Clyde  St. Germain
Fannie Clyde St. Germain, 87, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2018 at her son’s home with her family by her side.

Clyde was born in Griffin, Georgia and graduated from the Macon Hospital School of Nursing in 1950. She retired in 1986, after serving for more than 20 years at the Westerly Hospital as a registered nurse. She finished her career helping to deliver babies in the Maternity Unit. Clyde was loved by many people and touched everyone she met.

She was a longtime member of the Westerly Senior Center where she loved to play cards, especially pitch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward B. St. Germain; her parents, Robert and Susie Wilson; her sisters Clevie Wilson Scruggs, Vivian Suiter, JoAnn Moran; brother, Robert Wilson; half-sister Billie Kelly; uncle, Clarence Wilson; aunt, Sarah Wilson.

Survivors include her sons, Michael (Barbara) Jaye and Bruce Jaye both of Westerly; her granddaughters Katie Lynne and Brooke M; a grandson Bryan W; great grandson, Marcus; 4 stepchildren Tom, William, Natalie, and Edmond; a sister Mary Giles and a special Niece Joy Coffman, both of Knoxville, GA

Per Clyde’s wishes, there were no services scheduled and she has joined her husband Eddie at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Exeter, RI
