Condolence: I had the honor of meeting Evelyn over 36 years ago when her daughter Diane and I became friends. She was always warm and welcoming to me when I stopped at her house to visit. I miss those days but people like Evelyn are a reminder that good people do exist in this world. She was a lady with amazing strength and wisdom and was always willing to share her life experiences. She more or less paved the road for the rest of us always giving hope that things usually work out in the long run. “To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.” A quote by Thomas Campbell reminding me she still lives.
