Obituary for Michael D. Roberts
Michael D. Roberts, 41, of Plainfield, CT, passed away at his home on Friday, March 30, 2018.
Born in Westerly, he was the beloved son of Donald “Marty” Roberts of Westerly and Susan (Jacobson) Roberts of Norwich, CT. He was stepson to Michele Roberts and James Barry.
Michael worked as a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, farming and woodworking and loved to laugh and play.
In addition to his parents, he will be dearly missed by his fiancée Malisa Costanzo; three children, Kaylee Young and Charles Melia both of Westerly and Kohl Roberts of Plainfield, CT; five stepchildren, Angel Coogan, and Felicity, Gabriel, Xavier and Giovanni Costanzo; a brother Martin Roberts of Ledyard, CT; stepbrother Christopher Young; stepsister Katie Young; and a grandson Joseph Turner, Jr. Michael was predeceased by his son Michael D. Roberts, Jr. and stepdaughter Isabella Costanzo.
