Obituary for Maybelle M. Main (Murray)
Maybelle M. (Murray) Main, 87, of Memory Lane, Westerly, passed away at South Kingstown Nursing and Rehab on Tuesday, May 15, 2015. She was the wife of the late James E. Main.
Born in Stonington, she was the daughter of the late John and Maybelle Murray.
Maybelle worked as a Secretary for Electric Boat in Groton and was a communicant of St. Clare Church.
She leaves her three children, Steven E. Main and his wife Patricia and Pamela Weber-Niedzwecki and her husband Ken, all of Westerly and Kathy A. Parker and her husband Donald of Annapolis, MD. She is also survived by a sister Edna Greene of Ashaway; three grandchildren, Mallorie Parker, Morgan Parker and Amanda Williams and her husband Michael; and a great granddaughter Ella Williams. Maybelle was predeceased by her son Gregory D. Main.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 5-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday at St. Clare Church, 62 Crandall Ave., Westerly. There is no procession from the funeral home to church. Burial will be privatte.
