Condolence From: Steve Lamb

Condolence: Dear David,
I sit here at the library sending you this condolence after reading in the newspaper here of Carol's passing... my sincerest sympathies to you, and to Alison. I just visited with Carol at the Health Center about 3 weeks ago. I wanted to see her in honor of my friend David Lavoie, who thought the world of his aunt Carol but who didn't have a chance to see her before he passed away himself last December. It was so nice to see her, but it was lunch time and she was eating, so I told her that I'd come back someday soon to spend more time with her. That won't happen now, but at least her and Dave can have a long chat, along with a hug. I am so sorry. Carol was a peach.

I loved your mom since meeting her so many years ago when you, Ally were just a little girl. Mommy brought you every day to Westerly Town Beach and all of you kids all grew up together at that beach! My memories are of that beautiful Mom of yours, blond and so tanned and how we used to laugh watching our children swimming and building beautiful sculptures in the sand. And that’s how I’ll always remember my friend Carol Barber, always smiling, telling a funny story and eating lunch at the Chinese restaurant with your Dad💗 Rest In Peace Carol. I will miss you.
