The man, the myth, the legend. Edward Evans passed from this world July 11, 2018 on a mission to crank music, catch bass, and prune flowers with the big guy upstairs. When you meet Ed again, he’ll be the guy with the infectious smile waiting for you with wine in hand.
Ed wasn’t cut from the same cloth as everyone else. Ed was unique. Loud. Passionate. But most of all, he was loving. Not just for family, but all the people he surrounded himself with.
Ed was born in Westerly, RI and settled down in Meriden, CT. He is survived by his wife Rosina (Ridente). Parents, Edward and Mary. Sisters, Donna, Linda, Jane, and Pam. Children, Danielle and Edward. Grandson Hunter; and 9 nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 1:30pm to 4:00pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 10:00am at Central Baptist Church, 16 Elm St., Westerly. Burial at River Bend Cemetery, Westerly, will immediately follow.
