Obituary for Evelyn M. Sullivan (Burdick)
Evelyn M. (Burdick) Sullivan, 71, of Sand Plain Road, Charlestown and of Naples, FL, passed away at The Westerly Hospital on Friday, July 27, 2018.
Born in Westerly she was the daughter of the late George and Gladys Burdick.
Evelyn worked as an Administrative Assistant for Electric Boat in Groton. She loved gardening and traveling throughout the world.
She leaves her son Steven G. Planchon and wife Jaeyoung of Springboro, OH and daughter Michelle Kissinger and husband Eric of Charlestown; four grandchildren, Ryan, Lianna, Hannah and Jenna; her beloved companion Charlie Ballato; two cherished English Springer Spaniels, Abbie and Angel; and two siblings. She was predeceased by her husband Alan J. Sullivan.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday at 11am in the funeral home, immediately followed by interment at River Bend Cemetery, Westerly.
