I am truly lost for words (as your father laughs in heaven over that statement) and can't begin to express my condolences to you for your loss! You were the light of his life..He was so tremendously proud of you and your accomplishments. I am smiling now thinking of when he knew he was having a heart attack and flew to Florida to be with you. That was a combination of his wisdom and determination. And he made it.
Your Dad was not just a American Military Hero,he was my Hero. He was an Officer and a Gentleman. He instilled in me the lessons of life that I will take to my final Sunset! He was the epitome of Love thy Neighbor. I will cherish the memories of residing next to him for nine years at The Lion Gate. The nine most wonderful years of my life! Which of course, I thank the Lord for allowing me to have been honored to be the "Girl Next Door" to John F Dunn.
God Bless him and you my dear friend. Semper Fi
