Though this is quite belated, I just found out that Vera passed away. (I was going through old photos and just looking at her wedding pictures, making sure I had everyone's name. I didn't have the date so I did an internet search.) My deepest condolences to her family. She was my mother's best friend, and mom was maid of honor at her wedding. My mother was Eleanor Rathbone Grinnell who passed away in 2014. I look back on the happy times in those photos and wish everyone could have kept in touch better all those years ago.
