Steven K. Henderson, of Highland Ave., Westerly, passed away at Fairhaven Health Center in Lowell, Mass. on Friday, November 2, 2018, at the age of 56.

Born in Westerly, he was the beloved son of Marjorie Henderson of Westerly and the late William J. Henderson, Sr.

Steven was a self-employed barber and in his younger days, was a commercial fisherman out of Pt. Judith. He enjoyed fishing and loved animals, especially dogs.

In addition to his mother, he leaves behind his son Jake Longolucco of Westerly; three sisters, Mary Jo Driscoll and husband Jim of Ashaway, Julie Gross and husband Chris of Austin, TX and Jill Allain and husband Ryan of Port Charlotte, FL; as well as his sister-in-law Maryellen Henderson of Westerly; and many nieces and nephews. Steven was predeceased by his brother William J. Henderson, Jr.

A visiting hour will be held at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly on Friday from 10am-11am, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 11am in the funeral home. Burial will be at River Bend Cemetery, Westerly. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com
