Obituary for Mary Jane Capalbo (Boeniger)
Mary Jane (Boeniger) Capalbo, of Michigan Ave., St. Cloud, FL and formerly of Westerly, passed away in Florida on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the age of 81. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Capalbo.
Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Minnie Boeniger.
She had been employed at BDA for 20 years as an administrative assistant. A devoted and loving mother and grandmother, Mary Jane was also an avid New York Yankee fan.
She leaves behind her four children, Thomas M. Capalbo and his wife Marjorie of Chicago, IL, Margaret Waterman and her husband Michael of St. Cloud, FL, Terrie Burke and her husband Paul of Painted Post, NY, and René Capalbo of St. Cloud, FL; her brother, former State Rep Henry R. Boeniger and his wife Karen of Westerly; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Capalbo was predeceased by her brother Thomas J. Boeniger.
Visiting hours will be held from 1-4pm on Sunday, February 3rd, at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Relatives and friends are also invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10am on Monday, February 4th, at Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly.
