Condolence: Pistol was a great coach for me in both basketball and golf. He was one of the most patient and good-hearted men I've ever known. He will be sorely missed and left an indelible mark on me as a young athlete. I will always remember the endless supply of gum he used to provide us at basketball practice and games. It became a superstition and part of our pre-game ritual. May he rest in peace. My sincerest condolences for your loss. Go Bears.

He was one of the most wonderful people I have ever met-I was blessed to share so many wonderful times with Pistol over the years, sharing a story and a laugh, playing golf, having a beer, and enjoying his company.
