Obituary for A. Francis Quattromani

A. Francis  Quattromani
A. Francis Quattromani, 90, of Sherwood Drive, Westerly, passed away at Royal Westerly on Monday, November 7, 2016. He was the husband of the late Norma (Wilkinson) Quattromani.

Born in Westerly, he was the son of the late Frederick F. and Eleanor Quattromani.

Francis was a co-owner and operator of Westerly Automatic Oil Heat for many years and also a co-owner of Ocean State Liquors along with family. A US Army Veteran of WWII, he was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church; a Life Member of the Westerly BPOE #678; and former member of the Chariho Lions Club, the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick and Westerly Yacht Club. He enjoyed boating, fishing and clamming and was always known as the consummate gentleman.

He will be dearly missed by his three children, Barry Quattromani and wife Barbara of Toledo, OH, and Rick Quattromani and wife Jeanne, and Lisa Woerner and husband Paul, all of Westerly. Francis is also survived by five grandchildren, Thomas, Andrew, and Lauren Quattromani, Christa Beauchamp and husband John, and Bryanna Woerner; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Francis; a brother J. Albert Quattromani; and a sister Katherine Crowley.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7:30pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 9am at Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly. There is no procession from the funeral home to church. Burial will follow at River Bend Cemetery, Westerly. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman St., Ste 306, Providence, RI 02906 in Fran’s memory.
