Shekchung Yu, 74, of Ann St., Westerly, passed away at L&M Hospital in New London on Thursday, February 16, 2017.

He was born in Canton, China and worked in various restaurants as a chef. He retired from Foxwoods in 2010 after 9 years of service.

He leaves behind his son, Johnny L. Yu (Michele) and three grandchildren, Andrew, Kevin and Dylan, all of Westerly, as well as several siblings in China.

A Funeral Service will be held at Dunn’s Corners Community Church Presbyterian, 221 Post Road, Westerly on Thursday at 1pm. Burial will be held privately.
