Brenda Lee (Wilcox) Jakob, 67, of Westerly, died on October 23rd, 2017, surrounded by her family.

The daughter of Fred and Kathleen Wilcox, Brenda was born in Westerly, RI, where she lived most of her life. She was incredibly loving, thoughtful, and had a great sense of humor.

She leaves behind three children, Stacy Salaun, Todd Jakob, and Kristin Jakob; a son-in-law, Chris Salaun; a daughter-in-law Belkys Jakob; and two sisters, Karen Abosso and Cheryl Martell. Her sister, Lola Johnson, died earlier this year. She was affectionately called “Oohma” by her ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Her family held a private memorial to celebrate her as a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
