Obituary for Helen M. Provatas (Comis)
Helen M. (Comis) Provatas, of N. Woody Hill Road, Bradford, passed away at The Westerly Hospital on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the age of 95. She was the wife of the late Pericles A. Provatas.
Born in Derby, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Steve and Sophia Comis.
Helen devoted her life to her family and she enjoyed needlepoint and crocheting.
She leaves behind her son Stacy Provatas and wife Sharon of Bradford; a brother Michael Comis of West Haven, CT; two granddaughters, Stephanie Provatas of Coventry, RI and Kristie Vasilchik of Westerly; and one great grandchild. Helen was predeceased by two brothers, Louis Comis and Christopher Comis.
Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Funeral service and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly is in charge of the arrangements. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com
