Obituary for Bette G. Gilchrist (Greenleaf)
Bette G. (Greenleaf) Gilchrist, 74, of Quail Lane, Charlestown, RI died peacefully with her family by her side on July 5, 2018.
She was the daughter of the late Ted and Irene Greenleaf.
Bette is survived by her husband Timothy; her son Tim; two grandsons, Tyler and Jesse Gilchrist; two brothers, David and Richard Greenleaf; numerous nieces and nephews as well as Virginia Gilchrist her mother in law. She was predeceased by her son Tod and her brother Ted.
Bette was the longtime owner/manager of the natural food business Food For Thought in Narragansett. She was a lifelong advocate and practitioner of a healthy life style. Her love of exercise, cooking and sharing her vast nutritional knowledge was appreciated by all who knew her.
