Obituary for Angela Magowan (Italiano)
Angela (Italiano) Magowan of Hubbard St., Westerly, passed away at The Westerly Hospital on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the age of 93. She was the wife of the late Edward R. Magowan.
Born in Orange, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Mary Italiano.
Angela was a communicant of St. Pius X Church and devoted her life to caring for her family.
She will be dearly missed by her six children, Mary R. Becker and husband Werner of Westerly, Elizabeth A. Jerabeck and husband John of Fairport, NY, Edward F. Magowan and wife Carol of Pensacola, FL, Christine M. Magowan of Westerly, Kenneth J. Magowan of Gustavus, AK and Stephen P. Magowan and wife Emily of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. She also leaves thirteen grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Magowan was predeceased by her son Richard M. Magowan; and two grandchildren, Joshua Becker and John Jerabeck.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10am at St. Pius X Church, 45 Elm St., Westerly. There is no procession from the funeral home to church.
