Condolences & Tributes

We encourage you to share any memorable photos or stories about Joseph. All tributes placed on and purchased through this memorial website will remain on in perpetuity for future generations.

My condolences to the family and all who loved Joe. It’s so hard to lose someone we love, but the seeming finality of death is what makes it especially difficult. We can have confidence that God yearns to bring back to life the dead who are preserved in his memory. (Job 14:14,15) His Word, the Bible, gives us a wonderful hope of living in a paradise on earth and seeing the resurrection of our dead loved ones. (Luke 23:43; John 5:28,29) May this bring you some comfort during this very difficult time.

Dear Judith and family

We are thinking of you during this sad and difficult time in your lives. Your numerous praising comments are testimony to your sincere love and affection for your parents and family. I will think of him on this Veterans Day and will make a point to lower our flag in his memory, especially for his military service during WW-II.

Dear Patty and Family,

We know that your father is receiving the Lord's care now, but what wonderful care he received from his family these last two years. He was a remarkable man. Always with a ready smile on his face and always willing to ask you how you were doing.
He surely represents a time in Stonington where "everybody knew your name". He will be missed. We will hold you gently in our prayers and thoughts. May your memories sustain you.
