Obituary for Janet P. Hinchliffe (Heath)
Janet P. (Heath) Hinchliffe, 84, beloved wife of Richard W. Hinchliffe, of Narrow Lane, Charlestown, passed away at South County Hospital in Wakefield on Friday, January 11, 2019.
Born in Pawtucket, RI she was the daughter of the late Atwood and Hazel Heath.
Janet worked as a Registered Nurse for The Westerly Hospital for many years and was a longtime member of Christ Church where she was a member of the Altar Guild. She was a Mother Advisor for the Rainbow Girls from 1974-1976. Janet was a doting grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her loving husband, she leaves three children, Brian Hinchliffe of Nashville, TN, Catherine Johnson (David) of Wakefield, RI and Tracy Sawyer (John) of Charlestown; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Janet was predeceased by two brothers, Atwood, Jr. and Russell Heath.
