Obituary for Hattie M. Lewis (Geer)
Hattie Marie Lewis (Peabody – Geer), age 60, of Westerly RI, passed away peacefully on June 2nd, 2019 surrounded by family at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Born on Aug 9th, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Perkins & Arthur Geer. She was pre-deceased by her sister Mary James and her brother James Geer.
Hattie was an avid crafter with a passion for all things M & M.
She will sadly be missed by many, including her husband and best friend of over 30 years Paul Lewis. She also leaves behind her 3 children, Dylan Lewis, Shawn Lewis, and MaRanda Villella (Peabody). She was affectionately known as “Grama Hattie” by her 3 beloved grandchildren, Brandon Selvidio, Dominick Villella, & Nevaeh Villella. She was the “Baby” sister to her many siblings: George Geer (Pamela) of Grand Pass, OR, Gloria Latta (Thomas) of Westerly, RI, Benjamin Geer of Pawcatuck, CT, Beatrice Brophy of Glocester, RI and Mary Lanoie of Westerly, RI. Also feeling this loss is her longtime friend Mary Savage.
Hattie will be remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, & all those who fondly referred to her as “Ma”.
