William Bernard “Butch” McDonough Sr., 83, of Stonington, CT, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10am on Saturday at St. Mary’s Church, 95 Main St., Stonington. There is no procession from the funeral home to church. Burial will follow at Stonington Cemetery, Stonington. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the St. Jude Children’s hospital in Butch’s memory.
