Obituary for Raymond C. Kelly

Raymond C. Kelly, 93, of Westerly, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. He was the husband of the late Muriel (Girouard) Kelly.

Raymond was born in Manville, RI, the son of the late John and Francina Kelly.

He was the manager at Armour Company and formerly the Water Commissioner for the Town of Lincoln. He was the past president of the CYO at St. James Church in Manville and also the past president of the Manville Sportsmen’s Rod and Gun Club, as well as the moderator of the Manville Fire Dept. Raymond proudly served in the Merchant Marines.

He is survived by his daughter Kathleen Beauregard and her husband Arthur “Bill” Beauregard of Westerly; and four siblings, Joseph Kelly, Ruth Josephson, Nancy Loiselle and Karen Abramson. Raymond will be dearly missed by his two grandchildren, Jennifer Beauregard and Jessica B. Mendonca; five great-grandchildren, Colby, Nicholas, Joshua, Jason and Brody; as well as many nieces and nephews. Raymond was predeceased by five siblings, Jack, Michael Arthur and Edward Kelly and Rosemarie (Kelly) Balon.

Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, 44 Elm St., Westerly on Saturday, February 8th at 12 noon. Burial is private.
