Obituary for Julia D. Coletti (Delmonte)

Julia D. Coletti, of Chestnut Street, Westerly, passed away at the Westerly Health Center on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the age of 101.

Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late John and Angelina (Iacoi) Delmonte.

Julia worked as a twister for the George C. Moore Company for many years and was a lifelong communicant of Immaculate Conception Church.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Jude Lupinacci of Westerly; granddaughter Gia Lupinacci-Maxson and husband Stephen of North Carolina, and grandson Jade Lupinacci and wife Jody Eldridge Lupinacci of Stonington; as well as her brother Charles Delmonte of Westerly; and four great-grandchildren, James C. Maxson, Jensen M. Maxson, Natalia J. Lupinacci and Lucy D. Lupinacci. Julia was predeceased by her son Frank A. Lupinacci Jr. and siblings, Frank Delmonte, Joseph Delmonte, Nancy Vocatura, and Mary LeClair all of Westerly.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, February 28th, from 10-10:30a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 44 Elm St., Westerly, immediately followed by the recitation of the Rosary at 10:30a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. Interment will take place at St. Sebastian Cemetery.
