Virginia (Thorp) Birkbeck, of Groton and formerly of North Stonington, passed away at Fairview Nursing and Rehab in Groton on Friday, February 21, 2020 at the age of 100. She was the wife of the late Jack Birkbeck.
Virginia was born in Pawcatuck, the daughter of the late Astley and Emma J. Thorp.
She leaves behind her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter and her brother.
