We met in school which seems like a life time ago. We hung out quite a bit at the park and the library of course, who didn't?? lol
We went different ways and only just in the past few years reconnected via facebook and I was so glad to talk with you. Our plans to try and meet up this summer won't happen, but I do know I'll be seeing you again my dear friend. The time and miles may have separated us for a while, but our friendship lasted.

I remember my niece Robin mostly when she was a child growing up in Noank and living close to my family. We went to Esker Point Beach together and had fun at the local park. I babysat for Nancy & Dick once in awhile. She was a loving and beautiful child with her Mom’s smile and her Dad’s blue eyes. Our families took different paths in life and we drifted apart, but the love remains. Rest In Peace Robin!

Robin was my neighbor growing up. Although I have not seen her in about 40 years her life left an impact on me. She was the nice tough girl on the block and was always kind and inviting to whomever wanted to hang out and watch movies. I remember one time riding my bike down the road to her house and stopping by to say Hi ... she was making egg salad it wasn't a small bowl of egg salad either it was huge! In one of our conversations we spoke about birth dates ... she was two days older than me and I never forgot that. We shared the same middle name and we thought that was cool. I never forgot the twins riding their bikes one morning before school and the tragedy that happened that day. I witnessed it out our front window. I had to go to school that day and it was several days before I knew what had happened. It was some time before I had the opportunity to share my condolences with Robin. I remember speaking to her several months after she gave birth to her son. Robin had a tenacity that I don't think people understood back in the day but one thing is for sure she didn't care what people thought and I carried that with me in my own life and I thank Robin for that. God Bless her and may she rest in peace!
