I'm sorry for the loss of the one of most respected men I knew who accomplished alot in life to the fullest of his ability throughout all his life. He fought so bravely the ultimate malignant enemy right up to the very end surrounded by his love of his life-wife of 62 years as well as his sons, family and closest friends. I sincerely grateful to be part of the Petersons active and intelligent family. It was rough in the beginning but we all figured out to accept and love each others. I learned the meaning of family with friends gathering on Christmas eve singing, Mark used to play piano, playing christmas games with so much fun, playing poker, playing scategory games (I remember dad's answer "tigers of rangoon "), opening gifts together specifically with the grandchildren while I witnessed everyone's joy on their faces that touched my heart. We have delicious diversity food like Nonnie's famous stuffed grape leaves, kooftehs, Dad's famous rice pilaf, chicken wings and ribs, 3 types meat adobo with pineapple chunks, and lots and lots more food. Father's Day, Thanksgiving dinner, Dad's favorite holiday "Halloween", and different occasions and all. Beautiful decorations and lights on different holidays. Out of my own experience I most specially learned how to become americanized, experienced the difference of ethnicity and cultural differences in a very good way with the Petersons. I understood the importance of football, banquets, participating in sports, Military, working, leisures, monitary, business, being proud, and Dogs and Cats are not just pets but family members. My HEARTFULL sympathy to my husband Tracey, My children, Mom, Donny and Jim and to the rest of our families and closest friends of mom and dad and also their church. I LOVE YOU MOM and Thank you for accepting me as a daughter. I will miss DAD forever.
My love, Care and Prayers,

Ken Jennings

Remember Don as the chef at the Yardney battery company in Pawcatuck, in the 1970s thru 1990s. Don was a great chef and his Friday baked fish dinner was outstanding. My sympathies to the family.

Donald and his wife Ruth were clients of mine for nearly forty years with a cast of wonderful pets. Always cheerful and fun to have in my office. Whiskey and Captain Morgan, their dogs, have lost a caring owner and my condolences go out to his family and friends for their loss.
