Sending the whole Sposato family our love and sympathies at this sad time. Aunt Edith was such a special lady, from emergency sewing help at Brenda's wedding to great chats at the family BBQ. She will be missed tremendously! Love, Janet

To John, Frank and Families,
Edith was one of the sweetest, kindest people I have known. My late husband and your dad, John, were contemporaries in the community, and as such, we would meet your mom and dad at community functions. Both always had that warm, welcoming smile and friendly attitude I so admired. The obituary was right on about her quick wit; she had a great sense of humor. I did not often see Edith lately, but when I did, I felt just as comfortable with her as if it were just yesterday that we last spoke. I pray that your memories will bring you peace and comfort.

When Edith came from Germany, she and my mother, Julia LaPietra, became good friends. Cute and clever, she was a special presence in our lives. When John came to court her at our house, my sister Julie and I, who were 8 and 10 at the time, were quite intrigued by the romance. ( I think my father, Chinney, introduced them.) My mother the was matron of honor at their wedding. Those were good times. Now, we send condolences to her sons and siblings and their families. We hope your warm memories of this special lady provide a comforting shelter during this storm.
With sympathy,
Rosalie and John Maxham
