Dear Tom & Family:
I was sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. In our many paths that crossed in the Connecticut Section, all my remembrances were always that he was a first class guy and a real gentleman. May the memories and life he shared with all of you be forever and help you through these times. Rest In Peace Phil - You are held in the highest regard.

I knew Phil almost my entire life. I would go to basketball practice with my Dad (Moose Fabricant) as a very young kid and watch as he performed his wizardry on the court.. He always took the time to play catch and talk to me. When I was a bit older as a caddy at The Misquamicut Club, each time he came to play he would ask for me as his caddy. He was such a carrying person and I remember him for his warm and friendly ways. Not to mention when he hit a golf ball it exploded of his club like it was shot out of a rocket. I a;so speak for my dad in conveying our deepest condolences to the entire Jones family. I will never forget Phil.

Gayle, Valerie, and Tom. I did not know your Dad personally but I know your family and remember how welcome us neighborhood kids were at your home in one of many great neighborhoods where we were safe to play and the one I was drawn to as often as any. Four-square and 599-4214 will be with me always. My deepest sympathy to you and your wonderful family.

Gone from my sight but never from my heart! Phil was a wonderful human being and an amazing athlete. Phil and I go back almost 60 years. He was my co-worker, mentor, golf instructor, and hero, a very good friend. My thoughts and prayers are with Gloria and family.
