Ho Yen ‘Little Joe” Chen, beloved husband for 67 years of Yuen Ge Woo Chen, of Chin Hill Road, Westerly, passed away at The Westerly Hospital on Friday, December 18, 2020.
Born in Guangdong, China, he was the son of the late On Wing and Yu Chun Chin.
Ho Yen was the co-owner of China Village Restaurant and a dedicated family man.
He leaves his wife Yuen Ge; five children, Mamie Chen of Narragansett, Margaret Chen of Hawaii, Jack Chen and wife Gillian of Wakefield, George Chen and wife Sheree of North Carolina and Mee Hong Chen and husband Daniel of Westerly; four grandchildren, Joshua, Josiah, Elizabeth and Katherine; and several nieces and nephews.
