Joseph L. Morgan, beloved father and grandfather, passed away at Royal Westerly on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the age of 93. He was the husband of the late Irene (Orlando) Morgan who predeceased him on 11/16/2004.

Born in Norton, Mass., he was the son of the late Ernest and Lillian Morgan.

Joseph worked as a Supervisor at Electric Boat in Groton for many years until his retirement. During his younger days, he enjoyed bowling and playing horseshoes. He also enjoyed gardening.

Joe will be dearly missed by his three children, Irene Braun of St. Mary’s, GA, Randy Morgan and wife Georgina of Pawcatuck, and Tammy L. Morgan and husband Charles Bowers of Hoosick Falls, NY. He also leaves four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved companion Florence Capizzano.
He was predeceased by eight siblings.
