Obituary for Bonita L. "Bonnie" Mather
Bonita “Bonnie” L. Mather, beloved wife of Francis “Skip” Begina, of Gavitt Avenue, Westerly, passed away at L&M Hospital in New London on Saturday, December 19, 2020. She was 73.
Born in Marcellus, New York, she was the daughter of the late Harold “Bud” and Agnes Mather.
Bonnie worked in quality control for the George C. Moore, Company for many years. She enjoyed fishing with her husband at George’s Pond in Maine and going to Disney with her family. Bonnie loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to Skip, she leaves two children, Marianne Davis of Westerly and Jason Mather and his wife Melissa of Newport, RI; brother James Mather of Marcellus, NY; and two cherished grandchildren, Myah and Lauren. Bonnie was predeceased by her sister Sandra Mather.
A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10am on Wednesday, Dec. 23, at St. Michael Church, 60 Liberty St., Pawcatuck. Burial is private. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly is in care of the arrangements. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com
