Dear God Mother Julia,

I have been blessed with the good fortunate that my loving departed Mother (Lucy T. Frustere, 7-23-09) and loving departed Father (Salvatore P. Frustere 5-30-03) asked you to be my Godmother !!! Mom said you were her best friend. I can see why. You have been my mother since Mom passed.
We, (you, Joe, Aleka, and me) have shared many good times. I smile, when ever I received a card from you and would immediately pronounce that "No matter where in the world I am, my Godmother always manages to send me a card for all occasions of holidays and my birthday" . I have been to some 40 countries and lived several places; no matter, Godmother you managed to find me with your well wishes and love.
Then, after so many years, little did I know that I would end up living a couple hundred yards of you on Church St, Bradford, RI. It was my great thrill to have you and Joe over to our home. Sadly Lucy and Sam never got to see my place in Bradford.
Joe was much like a dad to me; he was full of knowledge about fixing anything-- just like my dad. I asked his advice many times. You were always there to help me through many personal family matters, that involved your friend my mother. I was forever grateful and supported by talks we had.

Dearest Godmother Julia.... I am sorry this pandemic has kept us physically apart; I do very much miss your hugs. Please say hello to Joe, my older Brother Michael, and my parents for me. You all shall always and forever be in our hearts, prayers, and thoughts. Our sincere love goes out to your family. May God continue to look over us all.

Sincerely yours forever.
Godson Richard and wife Aleka

Very fond memories of Diane and I coming home after going out and finding super delicious veal cutlets that were just made by Julia, but my most favorite was her famous egg cookies with the different color icing! No one will ever make them like Julia! And then when she came to pick Diane and I up after my car broke down late at night, there are so many memories, all great and awesome, just like she was. She will be forever missed and never forgotten. God certainly has an angel in his arms. Diane, Jane and family - I am so very sorry for your loss, my heartfelt prayers and thoughts are with you all, Robin
