Obituary for Margaret L. Gentile (Petrolino)
Margaret L. (Petrolino) Gentile, 90, beloved wife for 63½ years of Robert A. Gentile, of Westerly, passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
Born in N. Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Julia Petrolino.
Margaret worked as a clerk for Pier Cleaners and was a communicant of St. Pius X Church. She enjoyed gardening and baking many delicacies.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Robert and their two children, Robin Sievers of Westerly and Paul R. Gentile and wife Laura of California; two grandchildren, Brandon Sievers and Nicole Fitzpatrick; and her sister Yolanda Petrolino of Johnston, RI. Margaret was predeceased by her granddaughter Ashley Sievers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Friday, January 15, at St. Pius X Church, 45 Elm Street, Westerly. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Pius X Church in Margaret’s memory. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly is in care of the arrangements.
